CARE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN

About Southern Urgent Care

Trusted Care with Proven Orthopedic Experience

Southern Urgent Care offers the urgent medical attention you need without the emergency room expense. Our practice is dedicated to excellent patient care for both adults and children. Our primary provider, Jason Miller, brings seven years of dedicated orthopedic experience. This specialized background allows us to diagnose and treat complex injuries, from tennis elbow to sports injuries, that many standard urgent care centers cannot handle. Supported by the vision of Dr. Stephen Larson, we can offer advanced treatment plans like PRP therapy.

TRUSTED CARE

Our Providers

Accelerate Healing with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

PRP therapy is a minimally invasive treatment made from your own blood. The platelets contain healing growth factors, and PRP is injected directly into the injury site to support natural tissue repair, particularly for tissues with poor blood supply that heal slowly on their own.

Faster Recovery:
Full recovery is expected in 3–6 months, compared to 6–12 months for traditional treatments like braces and physical therapy.

Safe and Natural:
The treatment uses your own blood, resulting in a low risk of side effects.

Targeted Healing:
PRP addresses the tendon damage itself, not just the symptoms of pain.

ANY QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

No appointment is needed. We are a walk-in clinic, so you can come in during our open hours and be seen by our urgent care provider. If your condition turns out to need a specialist, our team will take care of arranging that referral for you after your visit, so it is one less thing for you to worry about.

Please bring a current, valid photo ID. If you have insurance, bring your insurance card so we can make a legible copy. It also helps to bring a current list of any medications you take, as that gives the provider a fuller picture and helps your visit go smoothly.

We work hard to see you quickly. Most simple visits are seen within about 30 minutes, and the majority of patients are finished and on their way within an hour or less. Because we are a walk-in clinic, wait times can vary from day to day, and they may be longer if several patients arrive close together. We also see the most urgent cases first, such as chest pain, trouble breathing, severe allergic reactions, and lacerations. Our staff will let you know if there is a wait and keep you updated. If you call ahead to check, please keep in mind that the wait can change by the time you arrive.

Yes, for established patients of our practice. We ask to see you in the clinic every three to six months so we can make sure you are staying healthy and your medications are still right for you. If you are not yet a patient with us, we will need to see you for an office visit first, and we are happy to get you set up.

Yes, we are glad to. Access to primary care can be hard to find in our community, and we are happy to help fill that gap. If you have run out of a medication and need it urgently, you are welcome to walk in and be seen. One thing to note: we bill as an urgent care clinic, so primary care services come with a few small differences in how they are billed, and we will gladly walk you through that.

That is completely okay, and you can still be seen. We offer discounted self-pay rates so that cost is less of a barrier to getting the care you need. If you would like to know what your visit may cost before you come in, feel free to call us, and our team will be glad to help.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and cash, so you can pay whichever way is easiest for you.

We accept almost all insurance plans. Because networks vary, the best way to be sure is to call us or bring your insurance card in so we can confirm we are in network with your specific plan before your visit. If we are not in network with your insurance, you are still welcome to be seen, and we offer all patients a discounted self-pay rate.

Your safety comes first. If you are at home and think you may be having a heart attack or are having serious trouble breathing, please call 911 right away so an ambulance can take you to the nearest hospital. If you are already on your way to us with symptoms that could be life-threatening, let our staff know the moment you arrive. Emergencies are always seen first, and our providers will quickly decide whether we can treat you here or whether you need to be transported to the hospital by ambulance.
